A few weeks ago we reported a Feb. 27th release date for The Shield - Season 5. Fox still hasn't officially announced this title yet, but Amazon.com's pre-order listing now shows a new date for the 4-DVD set. They're now saying this ships on March 27th instead. Their cost at the moment is $41.99, discounted from the $59.98 SRP. We'll confirm this new date with the studio shortly, and let you know if we find out anything different. We speculate that the date change might have to do with the effort to coincide the fifth season DVD debut with the debut of the sixth season on television. Stay tuned!
