Yesterday saw Sony's release of
The Shield - The Complete Series Collection on DVD, in collectible book-style packaging. Some readers have told us that they got and opened up their copy, and found scratches on their discs. This isn't universal to every copy, as many other fans have bought copies that had no problems whatsoever. And unfortunately you can't tell what the situation is until you literally get your copy home and open it up to use it. However, we've spoken to Sony, and they stand by their product. If you did find any scratched discs in your set, then you can contact the studio using the following method, and replacement discs will be sent to you with no additional charge.
