We've previously
told you to expect the 2nd season of
Sealab 2021 this coming February (with the third-season follow up in the Summer, don't forget!). Now we have the early word that Warner Home Video, who distributes all [adult swim] titles, is going to officially announce the second release this coming week.
But who wants to wait? We already have the early info, and we're not adverse to sharing! So, here goes! The release will be on the first Tuesday of the month,
February 1st. List price is $29.98 for a 2-DVD set that lasts 156 minutes. There's a nice list of extras on this set:
- Tour of 70/30 Productions
- A Tribute to Harry Goz
- Interviews with the Cast
- Rough Cut of Der Dieb
- Show Commentaries on all 13 episodes
- Ronnie-Episode Review and Commentary
As you see in that list, the info we got said there would be "13 episodes" on this compilation. We're not for certain - yet, anyway - which 13 they will be (the episode lists we see show S2 had 11 episodes, and some of them were included on the S1 release!). However, the beloved "Bizarro" episode will certainly be among the contents of the upcoming February set. How do we know? Check out the cover!
