The fans demanded it, and now "MC Chris" (aka Chris Ward) - who plays Hesh on the series, composes songs, and even writes for the show - has let the cat out of the bag:
Sealab 2021 is coming to DVD, apparently along with a new
Aqua Teen Hunger Force release, in this Summer's second wave of Adult Swim DVDs.
MC Chris was in an online chat last Saturday, and talked about both
Sealab 2021 and
ATHF (see separate news item about that). We won't post a link to the chat transcript itself, because it contains quite strong language and content. But we've got extracts of the portions which pertain to the DVDs (straight quotes, with no "clean up"). It looks like the questions jumped around quite a bit, but the answers are quite clear:
