Two months ago, Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment
announced that
Scrubs - The Complete 8th Season would arrive on DVD this
August 25th. Now the studio has followed up and announced that a high-definition Blu-ray Disc version of the same set is coming out later in the year. This is the first time
Scrubs will be released on Blu-ray, and you'll be able to get it on
November 17th. Cost will be $54.99 SRP in the USA, and CA$64.99 SRP in Canada.
This 2-BD set (414 minutes) will include all the bonus material found on the standard DVD version: 10 Webisodes, Deleted Scenes, Bloopers, Alternate Lines and "My Bahamas Trip" Featurette. Additionally, the Blu version will exclusively include 2 "laugh-out-loud webisodes" which are described by the studio as "never-before-seen". Fans who can't wait and buy the DVD of
Season 8 in August, then decide to upgrade to the Blu-ray version later on, will be eligible for a $10 rebate (details will be in the package). Here's a look at the BD version of the packaging, in 3D, followed by Disney's sell sheet for the set:
