BURBANK, CA. - Warner Home Video (WHV) brings more animated high-jinks to DVD January 19, 2010 with the release of
Scooby's All Star Laff-A-Lympics, the original Saturday morning show that features an ensemble cast of Hanna-Barbera characters who compete in a series of zany sports competitions. Titled
Scooby's All Star Laff-A-Lympics Vol. 1, the DVD will retail for $14.97 SRP.
Television fans will join some of their all-time-favorite cartoon characters as they trek across the globe and participate in a series of hilarious athletic events on
Scooby's All Star Laff-A-Lympics Vol. 1. The series, which is an animated spoof of both the Olympics and
Battle of the Network Stars, features 45 Hanna-Barbera characters organized into three teams; The Scooby Doobies, The Yogi Yahooeys and the Really Rottens. The three teams are pitted against each other as they vie for a gold, silver or bronze medal prize. The original series first aired Saturday mornings on ABC from 1977 to 1978.

- The Yogi Yahooeys -- This team consists mainly of 1950s and 60s popular animal characters including Yogi Bear as team captain, Boo-Boo Bear, Cindy Bear, Huckleberry Hound, Pixie, Dixie, Mr. Jinks, Hokey Wolf and Yakky Doodle.
