Grace Hanadarko (Holly Hunter) is a top-notch, forceful investigator whose wild personal life translates into a no-holds-barred approach to her detective work. Although Fox Home Entertainment hasn't formally announced the title yet (meaning that all the following info is subject to change, of course), an early alert to retailers states that the studio is planning to release all 15 episodes of
Saving Grace - Season 2 on DVD this
June 16th. That sounds like it will be fairly quickly after the second season finishes broadcasting on TNT (the show aired seven episodes last summer, then took a mid-season break and began airing again last week). However, keep in mind that a third season is due to premiere sometime in the Summer 2009 timeframe.
The info provided to retailers states that this will be a 4-disc set running 780 minutes. Episodes would be provided in widescreen video, with English 5.1 audio and an optional Spanish Dolby Surround track. English, French and Spanish subtitles are also listed, and it's closed captioned for the hearing impaired as well. Bonus material is being planned, but hasn't been finalized yet. The cost will be $49.98 SRP. It's too early for cover art, but stay tuned for that and any other updates we find out about!
