Saturday Night Live - Live from New York, it's Tom Hanks and Jon Lovitz!

Just over a month ago we revealed that the next two Saturday Night Live DVDs were featuring Tom Hanks and Jon Lovitz. Now we've got all the details and cover art for you!

The Best of Tom Hanks includes all of Tom Hanks' top appearances on the show throughout the years. Undoubtedly one of SNL's favorite hosts, Tom Hanks has starred in some of the show's most memorable sketches. Grab your robe and see Hanks get inducted into the exclusive "Five Timers Club" with other legendary hosts Steve Martin, Paul Simon, and Elliott Gould. From playing a string of original characters like a roadie on "Wayne's World" and Mr. Short-Term Memory, to lampooning his own movies like Big and Cast Away. Hanks' characters continue to run the spectrum, with each one seemingly funnier than the last.

The Best of Jon Lovitz includes all of Jon Lovitz's top appearances on the show throughout the years. Jon Lovitz was an SNL fan favorite from 1985-1991. He became known for such characters as pathalogical liar Tommy Flanagan, the Master Thespian, the Devil, Hanukkah Harry, and Evelyn Quince, host of "Tales of Ribaldry," as well as contributing memorable "Weekend Update" appearances as "Annoying Man" and urging the audience repeatedly to "Get To Know Me." All those Lovitz characters and more will be available for the first time on the Best of Jon Lovitz DVD. Celebrity guests include Justin Timberlake, Paris Hilton, Mick Jagger, Robert De Niro, Janet Jackson, Ben Affleck, Ben Stiller, and Ian McKellen. Both will go for $19.98 SRP, and both hit stores on June 7th. Lions Gate Home Entertainment is the distributor, getting these to retail on behalf of Lorne Michaels' Broadway Video, who owns the show. Best-of releases are the way to expect these to continue to arrive; no Saturday Night Live season sets are planned due to the extensive costs of music and talent rights involved in such a DVD presentation.
