This morning Universal Studios has announced a DVD release
Saturday Night Live - Lost & Found: SNL in the 80's. This is a single-disc release focusing on an era where the cast included the likes of Mike Myers, Dana Carvey, Phil Hartman, Kevin Nealon, Victoria Jackson, Jon Lovitz, Dennis Miller, Joe Piscopo, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Eddie Murphy, Mary Gross, Billy Crystal and so many more (including the final performances of the original "not ready for prime time players" in the early part of the decade). We're not sure yet what skits and segments will be included on this release, as the studio hasn't given that level of detail yet (when they do, we may find that not everyone listed above is included). Cost is going to be $19.98 SRP, and it ships on
March 4th. Stay tuned for box art, and any additional info the studio provides.
