This past October we
passed along a report that
Sanctuary, which stars and is co-Exec Produced by
Stargate alumni Amanda Tapping, would be getting release in the high-definition Blu-ray Disc format. This info came along just a few weeks after the DVD release of
Sanctuary - The Complete 1st Season.
Since then, we haven't heard anything further on the Blu-ray Disc front for
Sanctuary, even when we
reported a month ago (just a couple of days before Christmas that
Sanctuary - The Complete 2nd Season will be out from E1 Entertainment in DVD format on
May 18th.
This morning, however, we have learned that E1 is going to be bringing out Blu-ray Disc releases for both
Sanctuary - The Complete 1st Season AND for
Sanctuary - The Complete 2nd Season on that very same street date:
May 18th. The schedule could always move, of course, but right now that is the planned day. Specs, cost, contents/extras and package art hasn't been finalized yet for these, but rest assured that we'll fill you in just as soon as we know more. Stay tuned!
