The Producers and Writers of
Stargate SG-1 and
Stargate: Atlantis have brought us a new Sci-Fi Channel series starring Amanda Tapping, who was prominent in both of those shows. And now E1 Entertainment is preparing to bring it to DVD, with their
September 15th debut of
Sanctuary - The Complete 1st Season. The 4-disc set running 585 minutes will cost $44.98 SRP.
Other cast includes Robin Dunne, Christopher Heyerdahl and Cainan Wiebe, and the show was created by Damian Kindler. Video on the DVD relase is anamoprhic widescreen, with audio in both English 5.1 and English 2.0 Dolby. English subtitles are also present. Bonus Material (noted as not yet finalized, so this list could change) is planned to include Audio Commentaries from Tapping and Kindler on all 13 episodes, a 2-part
Sanctuary Webisode Mini-Series, some Behind-the-Scenes Footage, a Photo Gallery, and a Sneak Peek at Season 2.
