Just a few weeks ago, E1 Entertainment released
Sanctuary - The Complete 1st Season on DVD (and it was quite an impressive release, if I may say so!). Now the show's Star and Executive Producer, Amanda Tapping, along with Directory and Executive Producer Martin Wood, have told CinemaSpy.com's Associate Editor, Michael Simpson, to expect a high-def Blu-ray version to come out at some point. Here's a quote from what Simpson posted:
If you were disappointed that Season 1 of Sanctuary was not released on Blu-ray when the DVD came out recently, we have some good news. Yours truly spoke to star Amanda Tapping and director Martin Wood (both of whom are also executive producers) during Syfy's Vancouver Press Tour today and was told that a hi-def release is in the pipeline.
