It was almost a year ago that we
reported about the second season of
Samurai Jack, and at the time we reminded folks that Cartoon Network had announced long-range DVD plans the previous August which included a Fall '05 release of the 3rd season of this animated series. Obviously, that never happened. But never fear, because
Samurai Jack - Season 3 is finally here!
May 23rd will see the release of a 2-DVD set with episodes 27 though 39, plus extras such as Commentary on the "Birth of Evil" episode (that is a two-parter which originally aired back-to-back), Lost Artwork, and a featurette called "Martial Arts of the Samurai." This 13-episode collection from [adult swim] will sell for $29.98 SRP.
