Amazon.com is now taking pre-orders for
Rugrats - Season 1. There is no shipping date mentioned yet for this title; the e-tailer is allowing fans to lock in their copies now, before finalizing the availability schedule. Like
Charles In Charge - Season 4, as well as some previous releases from Nickelodeon, this title is "manufactured on demand using DVD-R recordable media," per the notice at Amazon. This means that it will not be available in stores, but only through Amazon.com (who will only manufacture the product, using their CreateSpace system, after you've placed your order). This first season set is a 3-disc collection, running 281 minutes, and currently priced at $35.98 (pricing is subject to change at Amazon's discretion, without notice).
