As we've reported
Route 66 - Season 3, Volume 1 is
coming to DVD on
July 21st (see box art and pre-order button link below), while Infinity is following up with
Route 66 - Season 3, Volume 2 will follow quickly on
August 25th.
Now, though, retail contacts of ours are passing along word that Infinity will also be bringing both of these together in one package later this year, with a
November 10th bow of
Route 66 - The Complete 3rd Season, for $49.95 SRP. That's at general retail, but it's possible therewill be an opportunity to get it even sooner. Longtime reader Bob Huggins let us know that he recently got a print catalog in the mail from Critics' Choice Video, which is owned by Infinity. In it, they showed that an 8-DVD set of
Route 66 - The Complete 3rd Season would be available exclusively from them first, at the end of June. However, that's just weeks away, and there's no listing yet for this title at CCVideo.com, the website of that outfit. Stay tuned, though, and if we find out anything more we'll let you know!
