Route 66 season sets: the "fixed" complete first season is coming in August, and the complete second season is penciled in for October. Yesterday morning we saw that Infinity had updated their release schedule with a new specific date for
Route 66 - The Complete 1st Season. According to the provided info, it's coming down the road on
August 5th.
Retailers such as Amazon (link below) haven't all updated their listings yet, but placing an order with them now ought to get you delivery at the correct time. Other details such as cost and extras appear to be unchanged. Infinity has previously indicated to us that they intend this release to resolve the various issues that buyers of the previous half-season sets had with the way episodes were presented on those discs. If that does indeed turn out to be the case, then this is great news to all the fans who have been patiently looking forward to the set!
