The other day I posted an
editorial regarding "sloppy" releases from the studios, and how we would report on problems with major sets being released.
Early reviews of
Roseanne Season 1 indicate that the studio, Anchor Bay, was given syndicated episodes by Carsey-Werner for the DVD set. We contacted Carsey-Werner and Anchor Bay for comments, but were unable to get a response regarding the issue.
A few readers have emailed Anchor Bay about the issue and received a response from them saying, "We are working on securing the rights for the original broadcast."
