At the beginning of this month, Anchor Bay
announced that they are teaming up with Carsey Werner to bring the classic TV series
Roseanne to DVD. They didn't say "when," though, other than to leave us with a general feeling it would happen this year.
Now Anchor Bay has narrowed it down a bit. Yesterday they updated their website with this tidbit of information:
ROSEANNE (1988-1997)
The domestic goddess herself arrives on DVD at long last. This groundbreaking comedy won over critics and viewers with its focus on blue-collar America. The first season will arrive in Late Summer/Early Fall of 2005 with all-new special features. Look for additional seasons to follow at regular intervals.
