Late in 2009 HBO Video released
Rome - The Complete Series Gift Set on Blu-ray, with both seasons of the show offered on the high-def home video format for the first time. Today HBO and distributor Warner Home Video announced that they will offer both season sets on Blu-ray Disc individually for the first time. These BD versions of
Rome - The Complete 1st Season and
Rome - The Complete 2nd Season will be available separately starting on
June 7th, at a cost of $69.98 SRP each. The 5-disc sets each come with all of the bonus material found on the previous DVD-format season sets, plus include an interactive screen guide called "Bloodlines" (originally found on the complete series BD set).
