After the first season of
The Rockford Files was released on DVD this past December, fans cried out in pain and shock when they realized that the pilot telefilm,
Backlash of the Hunter, was not included on the set. Universal has responded to the fan outcry about this, and have found a home for this feature as a bonus item included on the
June 13th release of
The Rockford Files - Season 2. This production included Stuart Margolin as "Angel," of course, plus Lindsay Wagner, Michael Lerner and Billy Mumy among others! That's above and beyond the 22 regular second-season episodes you'll find on this 3-DVD package (and is the only extra included). Well, better late than never, right?
