This past January we
had the scoop, complete with all the details, that Cartoon Network and distributor Warner Brothers would be bringing out a special DVD release of
Robot Chicken - Star Wars, and soon afterward we showed off the
package art for this disc. Originally the planned release date was May 20th, but today Cartoon Network/[adult swim] issued a press release noting that the release date is now
July 22nd. No reason was given for the change.
The DVD will be packed tight with bonus features including "Chicken Nuggets" (sketch-by-sketch video commentary), Episode Commentaries, Deleted Scenes, a Behind-the-Scenes Featurette, a Production Design Featurette, a Photo Gallery, Trailers, On-Air Bumps, a
Star Wars Celebration IV Convention Panel Presentation, and more...all for a list price of $14.97!
