Back in late March we brought you the BBC/Warner
announcement that both
Robin Hood - Season 2 on DVD and
Robin Hood - Season 1 on high-def Blu-ray Disc would arrive in stores on July 29th. In the past few days one of our longtime readers, Chris Cook, sent us a note that he had begun to see a different date at various online retailers, including Amazon...sometimes on either one of these two releases, sometimes on both of them.
We appreciate the heads-up, Chris, because we checked in with Warner Home Video and verified that the studio has pushed the release of BOTH of these packages back a week! Despite any dates showing to the contrary anywhere, Warner tells us to now expect both the
Robin Hood - Season 2 DVD and the
Robin Hood - Season 1 high-def Blu-ray Disc on
August 5th.
