Just a few weeks ago store and e-tailers in Canada stocked their shelves with VEI's release of
Riptide - The Complete 2nd Season on DVD. VEI's already planning on finishing off the series, and we've got the scoop for you on their plans!
Riptide - The Complete 3rd Season will have all 21 episodes, including the double-length adventure "Smiles We Left Behind" guest starring Rosalind Chao (
M*A*S*H, AfterM*A*S*H, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine) and Jane Badler ("Diane" from the
V mini-series and regular series). Other guest stars during the final season of this Stephen J. Cannell-produced show include Richard Hatch, Larry Linville, Ken Swofford, Cesar Romero, Barbi Benton, Steve Allen, Bernard Fox, Robin Riker, Christopher McDonald and Walker Edmiston.
This will be a 5-DVD set with a suggested retail price of only CA$29.95! VEI plans to release
Riptide - The Complete 3rd Season on
February 12th. As before, this release is planned for sale only in Canada, but if you can get it to a USA-made player it will work just fine. Here is your exclusive first look at the cover art:
