report that Fox Home Entertainment would deliver
The Ri¢hes - Season 2 on DVD this
March 24th. Now the studio has sent out package art for this release, and we've got a look at it for you below. We've also gotten word that Fox will include an "Eddie Izzard: Revealed" bonus feature on this set, which comes on two double-sided discs.
Maybe FX thinks the show is a turkey, though, considering that they've
canceled it...meaning that this "Season 2" release will be the final season of the series. Is that all that fans can expect, though? Not if Izzard gets his way; the
word from across the pond is that he wants to drum up support for a film version of the series. Support from the fans, as the BBC News quoted him as saying "
We're going to raise money like Barack Obama through the internet". That's certainly a new way to raise funds for a movie, and we wish him well on that effort...but we wonder if it occurs to him about how trusting people would be about giving over their money to shoot a film about con men? Just a thought! Best of luck, and we hope he's successful. If made, it could potenitally arrive as a theatrical film, a telefilm, or as a direct-to-video production (in which case we would definitely cover it here). We certainly can't get enough of
