With this past Tuesday's long-awaited release from Fox of
The Mary Tyler Moore Show - The Complete Fifth Season, the timing couldn't be any better for Shout! Factory to get word about about their follow-up DVD set for the spin-off series. The first season of
Rhoda came out last April, and fans have anxiously awaited word about whether more would be coming. The answer is "absolutely."
In fact, Amazon.com is now
taking pre-orders for
Rhoda - Season 2, due to hit the streets on
January 26th. The 4-disc set running 570 minutes will cost $39.99 SRP. There were 24 episodes in the show's sophomore year, and guest stars included Ruth Gordon, Richard Masur, Joan Van Ark, Norman Fell, Ron Silver, Michael Lerner, Vivian Vance, Dick O'Neill, John Ritter, David Ogden Stiers and Tim Matheson.
