reporting today that the
Return to the Planet of the Apes animated series from 1975 won't only be found in the
March 28th 14-DVD
Planet of the Apes - The Ultimate DVD Collection package after all. In a story by John Latchem,
HMR reports that:
Everything in the Ultimate set was previously released with the exception of the animated series, which a Fox spokesperson said is being prepared for an individual release as well.
That would be excellent news! We haven't confirmed this information with Fox ourselves, but we have every faith in this excellent home video industry periodical's reporting. Just as soon as we can get details from Fox as to when this will be available on its own, and how much it will cost, we'll bring that to you without any monkeying around. Stay tuned!
