A few weeks ago we
reported that Sony is preparing a
June 1st DVD release of
Rescue Me - The Complete 5th Season, bringing together the two half-season sets they put out at the tail end of last year. With that announcement under their belts, it seems the studio is ALREADY moving forward with "complete" DVD plans for the show's upcoming season! Amazon.com has already begun taking pre-orders for
Rescue Me - The Complete 6th Season, starring Dennis Leary. This listing is prior to the official Sony Pictures Home Entertainment announcement for the title, though, so instead of a street date Amazon only says "
This title has not yet been released. You may pre-order it now and we will deliver it to you when it arrives." Pricing is available, however, at $49.95 SRP (you can, of course, lock in your copy at a discount if you order it using the above link). There are no other details available so far at Amazon's entry, nor is there cover art either. Stay tuned, though, and we'll update you further on this title, just as soon as we find out anything further!
