Sony Pictures Home Entertainment hasn't announced it yet, but retailers including Amazon.com have let the cat out of the bag by putting up a
pre-order listing for
Rescue Me - The Complete 4th Season. The date shown there is
June 3rd, which is almost exactly a year from the last release with the third season. Amazon is not taking pre-orders just yet.
Last year's third season set was available at the same time on both DVD and on Blu-ray Disc. What about the 4th season set? Well, we have it on good authority that this season will be DVD only, with no Blu-ray version coming out day-and-date. What's going on with
that? We're not sure, but it's always possible Sony could schedule a BD release of
Rescue Me's 4th season for a later date.
