In mid-November we
reported that Anchor Bay had stated on their website about how
Renegade - Seasons 2 and 3 would come to DVD on March 21st. Now the same paragraph is still there, word for word on all but the last sentence ("Stay tuned for more information!," which was removed). Only the date has now been changed to
March 28th.
We're not positive that this is when we'll see the set, though. Anchor Bay Entertainment still isn't listing that in their schedule of releases, hasn't provided cover art or even pricing so far, nor can we find it listed at any online retailers yet. Oh, you can still find a couple of defunct listings in places for the
originally-planned Season 2-only set that was cancelled and eventually replaced with these new plans for the
Seasons 2 and 3 set...but that's not what we're looking for, of course.
We need to find out from the studio what's up with this title, because they're already soliciting some April titles to the retailers and making plans for May as well (look for news about those in separate news items today). We'll try to poke around and find out what exactly is up with
Renegade - Seasons 2 and 3, and let you know what we discover. Stay tuned!
