A couple of weeks ago we first brought you
this word about
Reba - The Complete 1st Season on DVD. At the time, it seemed that cover art was the only thing missing from our news item, but soon it came to light that more was missing than that!
With help from reader Buddy Iahn, we soon came to realize that 4 of the 22 first-season episodes weren't listed in Fox's announcement: only 18 episode titles were mentioned, on 5 sides of 3 discs. When we asked Fox about this, citing the missing information on their press site's listing, we were told that all 22 episodes would certainly be on the release and that the listing would get fixed. So, if you're like Buddy and want to be sure that this really IS the "complete" first season, as advertised on the box, rest assured that you'll get it all.
The correction Fox seems to need is to adjust their listing to show that "Disc 2, Side 2" and "Disc 3, Side 1" are both really the two sides of the 3rd DVD, and the second side of the second disc was the omitted portion of the release info and needs to reflect the episodes "Brock's Swan Song," "The Story of a Divorce," "You May Kick the Bride," and "Vanny Dearest." Until Fox adjusts their info, we have no way of knowing if any of those will be associated with extras such as commentary tracks.
