broke the rumors two weeks ago that Lionsgate Entertainment is planning to release
Reaper - Season 2 on DVD this
June 2nd, just a week after the season finale is broadcast on The CW. This morning the gossip we passed along has been verified, with the studio's official word to retailers confirming that schedule. The cost is $39.98 SRP for a "
4-disc set with 13 episodes and exclusive special features...timed with Season 2 finale on The CW."
Did they just say "extras" in that last quote? Yes they did, but no details are available yet on what that bonus material will consist of. The specs on the episodes, however, are these: they will be presented in widescreen video, with English 5.1 audio and subtitles in English and Spanish. They will also be closed captioned for the hearing impaired, and the set has a running time of 572 minutes. And that's all we have for you so far.
