Oscar-winning actor Walter Brennan is back as Grandpa Amos McCoy, Richard Crenna returns as grandson Luke, and Kathy Nolan returns as Luke's wife Kate in the second season of
The Real McCoys. And all three of them were nominated for Emmy Awards in 1959 for their roles on this series, which continued in the second year with 39 more episodes. Among those are "The McCoys Visit Hollywood," guest starring Barbara Stanwyck as herself. Also look for a visit from Irene Ryan, who would go on a few years later to become "Granny" on
The Beverly Hillbillies.
Infinity Entertainment is prepping an
October 30th release of
The Real McCoys - The Complete Season 2 on DVD. They don't have a lot of details for us so far, nor cover art, but
