Time Life has announced that the 5 separate DVD cases inside the firehouse package of their upcoming The Real Ghostbusters - The Complete Series DVD release will be SteelBook™ cases! These cases are coveted by collectors for their sturdy metal construction, and attractive finishing. We confirmed with SteelBook™ that this is the largest set to utilize SteelBook™ cases. They've had some multi-set releases in the past, but never a set that uses 5 cases in one package. No doubt, this announcement will have SteelBook™ fans drooling. We'll post artwork for the inner cases (and the finalized outer "firehouse" package) when it's available, though it won't quite do the product justice.
Time Life has also released the list of commentary track participants, which we've provided below. The Time Life exclusive, available only through TimeLife.com, is expected to ship in mid-November. Other details about this release are available in the press release.
