We just snagged this cover art for the final season of
ReBoot from Anchor Bay.
Yesterday I spent some time talking to the person in charge of licensing at Mainframe Entertainment, and I asked her a few questions about ReBoot. The show still performs well in reruns and she has hopes that it may be relaunched sometime down the road, either as a movie or another TV series. She also said that Universal Studios controls the home video rights to the first two seasons after they acquired Polygram who licensed the show from Mainframe. At this time they don't seem interested in releasing it, but Universal is also just getting back into TV-on-DVD, so there may be hope for the future. If Universal were to release the two seasons they own it would complete the run of the series. We can always cross our fingers and hope.
