Last August we
reported about how a sticker on the CD Soundtrack for
Queer As Folks' fifth and last season informed the fans that they should "Get The Final Season of QAF on DVD January 10th!"
The sticker was wrong.
That date is almost here, of course, and no announcement for
Queer As Folk - The Final Season has been made by Showtime or their distributor, Ventura. The online retailers that we are affiliated with - Amazon, DVDPlanet, and DVDEmpire - have no listings on this matter. But e-tailer 10percent.com
has a listing which clears matters up: they have both a new release date AND some cover art!
May 9th is the release date according to the folks at 10Percent.com, with all 13 episodes running at "15+ hours."
Queer As Folk - The Final Season is shown to have a $109.95 SRP, but they are discounting it to $84.95 at this time. No extras are mentioned in the listing. Our thanks to all the readers who wrote in to make sure we knew about this! Here's the cover art currently shown at the retailer listing:
