This past November we
had the scoop that Acorn Media was looking forward to a North American DVD release of
Queer as Folk - The Complete U.K. Series. The Russell T. Davies-produced program was originally said to be looking at a mid-2011 release timeframe, but as we said in that early report it was VERY subject to change. Now Acorn has updated us with word that they have settled on a street date for this item, and it will definitely be later in the year. It's still a 3-DVD set for $49.99 SRP, and you can mark your calendars for
September 27th. We probably don't have to say this (since that date is a while away), but bonus material hasn't been finalized yet, nor package art. Stay tuned, however, and we'll keep you updated as further developments occur!
