Yesterday we
reported on Universal's announcement of
Quantum Leap - The Complete 4th Season. This was a year that started with Sam and Al reversing their roles in "The Leap Back," with Al doing the leaping while Sam got to go home for a bit. The season continues as Sam fights against the forces of nature in the form of Hurricane Camille, becomes a Ku Klux Klansman, leaps into a woman who has been raped, enters a potentially space-faring chimpanzee, becomes a latter-day gunfighter, flies through the Bermuda Triangle, has "A Wonderful Leap" with his own guardian angel, battles an ancient Egyptian curse, and finishes the season by leaping into Al of all people...and changing history, potentially sending Al to the gas chamber!
There were, as usual, lots of guest stars this season, too: popular '80s nightclub comedian Dennis Wolfberg returned as "Gushie" for the first time since the pilot, plus Neal McDonough, Noble Willingham, Eric La Salle, Jerry Hardin, Alan Oppenheimer, Laura "Dr. Laura" Schlessinger, Liz Torres, Bob Saget, Amy Yasbeck, Terry Farrell, and Roddy McDowall.
The set arrives on
March 28th, and we are hoping that Universal has done more with music licensing this time around than they did on the second and third seasons. We don't know yet, though, but if we find out we'll certainly pass it on to everybody. In the meantime, we've got full-sized cover art for you. This is a lot easier to see than that postage-stamp-sized shot we had for you yesterday. Enjoy!
