Our fellow TVGuide.com associate, Michael Ausiello, has been busy attending the
PaleyFest 2008 recently, and after spending time this past Saturday night at the
Pushing Daisies event, he gave
a great write-up of all the things he learned there. Among them is that "
Daisies' first-season DVD streets in early September."
We've gotten a ton of e-mail from fans urging us to post this info, confirming what many of us took for granted. So consider it done! But it IS rather a routine thing these days to pretty much assume that any current-running, popular program will get a DVD release of the just-aired season. The release would be timed to hit stores just prior to the new season's debut. So we usually wait on those, until we have a specific street date to bring you.
During the past few days, we've tried hard to get an exact release date for
Pushing Daisies - The Complete 1st Season, but it turns out that it's not as easy as pie! Stay tuned, though, and we'll bring it to you just as soon as Warner Home Video makes that info available. Until then, we still have to officially file this under "rumors"!
