A little over a month ago, Warner Home Video released the seventh and final single-disc "volume" DVD of A Pup Named Scooby-Doo. Feedback from the fans was that these one-DVD items were okay for the little ones, but that the serious (and older) Scooby collectors wanted season sets. Well, rumors have reached our ears overnight that Warner is working to accomodate that!
The gossip we hear is that A Pup Named Scooby-Doo - The Complete 1st Season is going to be a 2-DVD set with all 13 episodes on it, and that it is likely to come out in the early part of 2008, for around twenty dollars list price.
The second season is only 8 episodes, and the third season only 9 episodes, so it's unclear right now whether Warner would choose to combine both into a single 17-episode set, or keep them separate. We think it's more likely they would keep them separate, but that's just a guess on our part.
Remember, this is all just loose talk, not confirmed by the studio, so take it with a grain of salt and stay tuned for updates.
