After season-set releases for 3 out of the 4 seasons of
Punky Brewster, the folks at Shout! Factory appear to be shifting gears. Instead of finishing off with a much-fan-desired 4th season set, there are
listings at Amazon.com for six different single-disc "volume" releases. All six of these are due to come out on
July 10th, for $9.98 SRP each. No word on what their content is yet, because press info about these DVDs hasn't come from the studio so far. We're looking into it, though, and we'll let you know what we find out. Stay tuned, and our thanks to all the readers who wrote in to inquire about these.
