The
Power Rangers have been around for 10 years, and a generation of fans have grown up with them. The series has - ahem - morphed into 9 different incarnations. The very latest is
Power Rangers Ninja Storm, and it airs Saturday mornings on ABCKids.
ABC's parent company, Disney/Buena Vista, continues the home video tradition established by original
Ranger owners Fox and Saban: the first
Ninja Storm DVD (
"Prelude to a Storm") has already been released to purportedly very successful sales. And now, on Sept. 2nd, Disney follows up with two more volumes blowing your way.
Volume 2 is called
"Looming Thunder". Fans will recognize the title as identical to that of the fourth episode of the premiere season, so this release seems to pick up right where Volume 1 left off in the series. But then, before weather clears, there's even more action with Volume 3,
"Lightning Strikers". Both discs have a list price of $19.95, and are already available to pre-order in both the U.S. and Canada.
Correction (6/28): The release date for Vol. 2 & Vol. 3 is Sept. 2nd.
