We're still two months out from Shout! Factory's highly anticipated
May 19th DVD release of
Peyton Place - Part 1, the classic TV series starring Mia Farrow and Ryan O'Neal (and based on the classic novel and films). But Shout! isn't hesitating at all with the follow-up set!
This morning we've learned that Shout! Factory and distributor Vivendi Entertainment is alerting retailers that
Peyton Place - Part 2 will come to stores on
July 14th. The 5-DVD set will run 810 minutes, with full-frame video (probably in black-and-white, as the show didn't change to color until the third season), and English mono audio. There are no further details available yet, nor do we have package art. But stay tuned and we'll keep you updated as more info comes in!
