In the mid-'80s American Greetings was behind the release of the popular plush toy "My Pet Monster," and the fierce-looking (but oh-so-cuddly!) purple guy soon was turned into a short-lived animated series which aired on ABC Saturday mornings. Now we've learned that KaBoom! Entertainment of Canada, a division of Peace Arch Entertainment, will release
My Pet Monster - The Complete Series up north beginning on
October 28th.
The 2-DVD set costs CA$22.99 SRP for 296 minutes' running time. There were 16 cartoons produced, which aired over the course of 13 episodes (three of the half-hour episodes showed two separate, shorter cartoons). Video will be full frame, and audio in English 2.0 Stereo.
