Perry Mason news from the other day and wrote in to let us know there may be some bonus features on the upcoming DVD set:
I've been corresponding for awhile with the estate of the creator of PM and was told that the studio was looking for bonus material for this set. He didn't tell me what the material was, but it should help make this a very attractive package for long time fans such as myself.
Hopefully the studio can find material to include on the set. Steve also wanted to point out that Columbia House released the show unedited on VHS, but two edited episodes were made their way onto DVD when the company switched over to the shiny discs. Hopefully Paramount/CBS is aware of the cut episodes (Episode 19 "Haunted Husband" and Episode 100 "Lavender Lipstick") and will include the full versions on the upcoming DVD releases. We'll try to contact the studio to make them aware of the issue.
