    Perry Mason, the popular TV franchise that inspired a genre of courtroom dramas returns with the first half of the eighth season. Raymond Burr continues igniting the screen as a brilliant attorney who will stop at nothing to crack the most impossible cases to uncover the truth.
With The 7th Season, Volume 2 still pending for release on October 23rd, CBS DVD and Paramount Home Entertainment are already moving forward with a new release RIGHT behind it! Perry Mason - The 8th Season, Volume 1 is hot on the heels, with a 4-disc set sporting 15 episodes set to arrive on November 27th. This first half of the next-to-last season includes guest stars such as Richard Anderson (recurring), Ford Rainey, Charles Stroud, June Lockhart, Jeanette Nolan, Neil Hamilton, Barbara Bain, Werner Klemperer, Elisha Cook, Harry Stanton, Harold Gould, Gary Crosby, Joyce Meadows, and Lee Meriwether.
