This past January we
posted a story answering fan concerns as to whether the release (earlier this month) of a
Perry Mason - 50th Anniversary Edition DVD set would mean that season sets of the long-running show would possibly be at an end. The studio told us that this wasn't the case at all, and this morning we've got the proof of that for you. CBS DVD and Paramount Home Entertainment have announced today the
August 19th release of the first episodes from the show's 3rd Season!
The title, as officially provided by the studio this morning, shows up as "
Perry Mason - The Third Season, Volume O" (as in the letter "O"). That's obviously a typo, and we're certain they mean "Volume 1." Video and audio are as originally broadcast, with full-screen picture and English mono sound. No further details are available yet, nor is cover art.
