Back in late November the folks at Warner Home Video issued their formal press release for their
March 18th debut of
The Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm Show - The Complete Series on DVD.
We posted it, along with box art at that time, specifying that the extras would include 4 bonus episodes of "Pebbles & Bamm-Bamm" made the following year to be shown as part of
The Flintstone Comedy Hour:
- Squawkie Talkie
- Suitor Computer
- Beauty and the Beast
- Bedlam in Bedrock
The folks at Warner Home Video have now released the rear box art for this package, but it gave us pause when we first saw it. In the bottom right corner, near Bamm-Bamm's feet, is a rock showing the Special Features on this set, and it says there will only be 3 bonus episodes, not 4. We quickly checked with Warner and inquired about this, and we were told that this is a typo on the back of the box: "There are 4 bonus episodes." Warner is going to have the packaging corrected. We appreciate the super-fast response, and we're glad to have helped them catch that one! And even more glad that all four bonus episodes will be included, so you get everything you're supposed to (a total of twenty episodes).
Here is the current version of the rear box art, complete with typo. Changing that "3" to a "4" ought to be the only change, but if something more drastic with it happens then we'll let you know!
