Last March, we
passed along info from Tom Fontana's website that mentioned the release timeframes of the 5th and 6th Season of
Oz on DVD. With the fifth one already released "on time", fans of the show are wondering what happened to the "September" timeframe for the 6th season set that Fontana had talked about back then on his website.
One of our readers, "Matthew", sent an e-mail to TomFontana.com asking about this. He got a reply from the site's webmaster, David Laundra, who said that, "
Unfortunately HBO has moved the release date to the 'first quarter of 2006'. They have not been able to give us a specific date." Thanks for letting us know about that, Matthew. As we know, release dates are very fluid in the DVD business, especially that far in advance. Fans should stay tuned and we'll let them know what the release date is, just as soon as we can find out!
