had the story that Alliance Home Entertainment of Canada is preparing DVD releases on
May 4th for both
The (New) Outer Limits - The Complete Season 1 and
The (New) Outer Limits - The Complete Season 2. Today we've received package art from the studio for each of these 6-disc sets (see below), and - even better! - Alliance has also announced that on
June 1st they'll also release
The (New) Outer Limits - The Complete Season 3. Cost on each of these north-of-the-border collections is CA$25.99 SRP, but you can lock them in at a discount by pre-ordering through the provided Amazon.ca links. Keep in mind that Canadian releases will work just fine on standard DVD players bought in the USA, if imported.
Reminder: These are the
Canadian edits of the episodes, as that's all that Alliance Home Entertainment owns. The show was broadcast on "regular" (non-premium) TV in Canada, and the content in the show had to reflect that. Here's a look at that out-of-this-world packaging:
