Last year's season - the final one with Steve Carell - has only hit home video (in both formats) about a month ago, and the new season got its NBC premiere just the other Thursday. But that doesn't keep Amazon from already taking pre-orders for
The Office - Season 8 on both
DVD and high-def
Blu-ray Disc formats. These listings are LONG (obviously!) before the official Universal Studios Home Entertainment announcement for these items, though, so instead of a street date Amazon only says "
This title has not yet been released. You may pre-order it now and we will deliver it to you when it arrives."
Pricing is available, however, currently showing $49.98 SRP for the standard DVD and $59.98 SRP for the Blu-ray (you can, of course, guarantee your copy right away at a discounted price, if you order it using either of the above links). There are no other details available so far at Amazon's entries, nor is there cover art yet. Stay tuned, of course, and we'll (eventually) update you further on this title, just as soon as we find out anything more!
